Agent: Juventus missed their chance for Real Madrid's Xabi

The agent of Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso has played down talk of moving to Juventus.

Alonso's agent, Inaki Ibanez, admits a move is impossible as the Spanish international is happy in Madrid and would consider ending his career there.

"I think a move to Juventus for Xabi is an impossible thing," Ibanez told calciomercato.com.

"It's not a money problem, now the player has a great time at Real and I see no possibility that he moves, neither to go to Turin nor to another club."

"He still has two years and a half contract, then we will see. Finishing his career at Real Madrid? It's a possibility, although in football you never know."

"Juventus had the chance to buy Xabi Alonso two and a half years ago (when he was at Liverpool), but no agreement was found."
