Agent: Inter Milan must wait for Real Madrid's Figo

Inter Milan are still waiting on Luis Figo to reach a compensation agreement with Real Madrid.
 
While a deal for Real teammate Walter Samuel has been struck this week, Figo's move to Inter has been held up as he seeks a £2 million payoff from the final year of his £4 million-a-year contract.

Enzo Bronzetti, who has been brokering both transfers, admitted yesterday: "We must wait for the player to return from the Asian tour with Real Madrid."

"The problem is his contract, but Figo wants to join Inter."

Liverpool chief Rick Parry also admitted yesterday that talks with Figo had "cooled off", suggesting that the 32 year-old winger is now closer to Inter than Anfield.
