Agent hints Real Madrid close to landing Velez Sarsfield defender Otamendi

The agent of Velez Sarsfield defender Nicolas Otamendi says Real Madrid are close to landing the 22 year-old.

Otamendi is already a regular in Diego Maradona's Argentina team and tipped for a big future.

His agent, Gustavo Mascardi told TMW: “I have mandate to sell Nicolas. We will see who is interested in the player."

“I believe that a Spanish club is favourite. I will be in Spain next week to speak to them.”
