Agent denies Real Madrid appraoch for Roma's Chivu

The agent of Roma defender Cristian Chivu has denied reports the Romania international will join Real Madrid at the end of this season.

Andrea Pretti said: "I want to make clear that in the last 7-8 months I have not ever spoken with the leaders of Real Madrid about Chivu, not with them nor with another club."

"Only Inter has officially asked for Chivu, last summer, and Roma gave them a negative answer."
