AC Milan warned Real Madrid's Huntelaar not up to it

Italian super agent Vincenzo Morabito has questioned AC Milan's pursuit of Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Milan coach Leonardo is keen on the Dutchman, but Morabito believes he isn't up to it.

He told calciomercato.com: "It seems significant that Milan does not want to spend a lot of money. This means that certain goals become unattainable. Furthermore, to wait until the last day of the market can be risky."

"Some years ago, Milan, to buy on the last day, went for Ricardo Oliveira, an overpaid player who later turned out to be useless."

"I think Huntelaar has shown his limits. He had his opportunity in Real Madrid. When a player is strong, he must prove it. Even in the past, several attackers who were full of goals in second-tier tournaments, have disappointed in a more difficult league."
