AC Milan Vice-President Galliani Returns From Spain Empty-Handed
Despite extending his stay in Spain to convince Real Madrid to let Klaas-Jan Huntelaar go, Galliani returned home empty-handed.
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani returned to Italy, but failed to bring back Klaas-Jan Huntelaar from Spain, despite staying an extra day in order to convince Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to let the attacker leave on a loan deal.
According to Sky Sport 24, Galliani was a guest on Perez's yacht and tried everything in order to make Perez change his mind about Huntelaar.
However, the Merengues have no intention of letting the former Ajax player leave on loan with the option of buying him at the end of the season.
Still, Galliani has devised a plan B according to the latest reports, which he must first discuss with the Milan coach Leonardo, before presenting it to Perez.
According to these reports, Galliani is set to ask for the loan transfer of Huntelaar, but already setting the price for the player at €20 million which will be paid by Milan at the end of the season.
