The burly striker has signed an 18-month deal with Milan and told Brazilian reporters yesterday: "After 2008, I may return to Flamengo."
"I've only just arrived and you're all asking me about Flamengo in 2008! Look, I love the people of Flamengo and the club itself. But I am here at Milan, beginning a new stage of my career and it isn't right to be already talking about my next move when I haven't even played for them yet!"
