AC Milan, Real Madrid send out feelers for Liverpool's Owen

AC Milan and Real Madrid are sending out feelers about the possibility of launching a major raid next year for Liverpool striker Michael Owen.

Both European giants are monitoring the England ace's situation at Anfield, where he is still to commit to a new contract.

Milan and Real have already made tentative enquiries about what it would take to buy Owen and also the sort of contract he would be looking for to leave his hometown club.
