AC Milan open door to Kaka sale for Real Madrid

AC Milan have opened the door to Real Madrid over the sale of Brazilian midfield ace Kaka.

It's emerged that during marathon talks over three days regarding Milan's capture of Ronaldo, the Rossoneri's vice-president Adriano Galliani indicated they were prepared to sell Kaka.

AS says Galliani, during the negotiations, made clear what terms they would consider selling Kaka for, which included a three-player swap plus cash. Milan would allow Kaka to move to Madrid in exchange for a cash component plus Mahamadou Diarra, Robinho and Fabio Cannavaro.

Milan's shift comes from the growing confidence at the Italian club that Barcelona superstar Ronaldinho will join them in the summer. Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has given the green light for Kaka's sale in preparation, knowing well that his team won't be able to accommodate both Brazilians.

Real are open to the proposal, but while they're happy to sell Cannavaro and Robinho, the Madrid giants consider Diarra a fundamental part of their future, despite the African's problems with Fabio Capello this season.
