AC Milan offer £11M for Real Madrid's Baptista

AC Milan have tabled an £11 million offer to Real Madrid for attacker Julio Baptista.

AS says Milan's offer, however, has fallen short of Real sports director Pedja Mijatovic's £15 million valuation - and the Brazilian won't be sold be anything less. Mijatovic insists Baptista is worth the fee following his outstanding Copa America and also with a Spanish passport to be awarded to him next month.

Baptista is delighted with Milan's interest, but his priority is to stay with Real. He is due in Madrid today after a short break following his Copa exertions.
