AC Milan confident of landing Real Madrid's Figo

AC Milan are convinced they can sign Real Madrid ace Luis Figo on a Bosman at the end of this season.

Figo has alerted Europe's big spenders after revealing that he won't be offered a new deal by Real.

Liverpool and Tottenham have been linked with Figo, who Real says has a contract with them until 2006.

However, those close to Milan insist that the 32 year-old will be free next summer as Real's claim is only for an option of a further 12 months.
