AC Milan chief on Ronaldo: Still some work to do

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admits a deal for Real Madrid striker Ronaldo won't be completed in time for Wednesday's clash with Roma.

Galliani said: "I spoke with Ronaldo yesterday. For the moment he's still a player of Real Madrid. It won't be possible for him to play against Roma on Wednesday."

"On Monday we will go to Madrid, we hope to conclude the operation by Tuesday morning. Then in the afternoon we will return to Milan, while the team will leave for Rome."

Galliani is confident coach Carlo Ancelotti will know how to get the best from Ronaldo: "Ancelotti will know how to best manage Ronaldo, but not only he, also Gila, Inzaghi and Oliveira."
