£7m Luque agrees Real deal
Spain Under-21 striker Alberto Luque has reached an agreement with Real Madrid to join the Spanish champions for £7 million from Real Mallorca from the start of the 2002-03 season, according to the player's agent Manel Ferrer.

"Alberto has always been keen on playing for Real," said Ferrer, who explained that the highly-rated forward will remain at Real Mallorca on loan for the forthcoming campaign.
Real moved quickly to tie up one of Spain's most promising talents, who is out of contract at Mallorca at the end of the coming term.
Bernabeu chief Florentino Perez, who is on holiday in Majorca, agreed the £7 million deal with Mallorca president Mateo Alemany last Saturday.
The 22-year-old signed for Mallorca in 1997 from Barcelona, the club he joined as an eleven-year-old.
He then went on loan to Malaga for a year before returning to Mallorca for the 2000-01 season, where he scored nine goals.
Barcelona were in talks to bring the player back to the Nou Camp in November 2000.
