Beckham: Madrid derby was very boring
Real Madrid played out a low-key derby against Atletico Madrid yesterday with the match finishing 0-0.
Real coach Venderlei Luxemburgo admitted the match "felt like a friendly" afterwards, while midfielder David Beckham also remarked: "I am disappointed. It was a very boring game in which it has been very difficult to concentrate."
"It was the last game at the Bernabéu and we wanted to dedicate a triumph to the fans, but after losing the Liga and without much motivation our level was lowered."
