Real Madrid ace Ronaldo proud to score first goal at Anfield
Cristiano Ronaldo was enormously proud to score his very first goal at Anfield on Wednesday night.
The Portuguese star netted with a sublime half-volley in the 23rd minute of Real Madrid’s 3-0 Champions League win over Liverpool and was delighted to contribute so heavily to his side’s success at such a tough venue.
"It was special, it was my first goal here at Anfield so I feel very proud for that,” Ronaldo told Sky Sports after Madrid landed their third win from three Champions League fixtures this season."
