Real Madrid Stars Cristiano Ronaldo & Gonzalo Higuain Happy With Win Over Villarreal

Real Madrid stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuain were happy after they completed a 6-2 rout over Villarreal at the Bernabeu.

Higuain scored twice and Ronaldo was the star of the show as two goals from Kaka and a Xabi Alonso penalty completed the demolition.

"We played well, we have to keep fighting with Barcelona and we'll see what happens at the end," Ronaldo told AS.

Team-mate Higuain was also pleased with the performance and had praise for the efforts of his Portuguese comrade.

"We are delighted with today's game after Lyon. We must continue to play like this from now on," he noted.
