Pellegrini: Real Madrid Deserved Valencia Win
Real Madrid claimed an impressive win at the Mestalla, and Manuel Pellegrini was delighted with his side's performance.
Los Merengues emerged 3-2 victors having twice conceded their lead, thanks to a late goal from Ezequiel Garay. Speaking to Marca after the match, Pellegrini said, "It would have been unfair not to win."
"We had three or four chances in the first half, and were very solid in the second. I do not know if it is our best performance of the season, but it was a very good game, against a tough rival in a tough stadium."

Pellegrini then discussed the fact that the team had won without Ronaldo and Kaka, continuing, "We will always miss them, because they are important players."
