Brazil want sacked Real Madrid coach Luxemburgo

Br azil want sacked Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo to takeover national team duties after next year's World Cup.

The Br azilian federation's president Ricardo Teixeira was in Madrid in October and offered him the job during a meeting. Current Br azil coach Carlos Parreira will leave after Germany 2006 and Teixeira sees Luxemburgo as an ideal replacement.

Former club Santos have also maintained contact with Luxa since June and he could seal a return to the Br azilian club before the start of next season.
