Tension remains between Real Madrid coach
Bernd Schuster and sports director Pedja Mijatovic.
DiarioSport says Mijatovic was never fully supportive of Schuster's appointment and has disagreed with the German over transfer policy and the hiring of backroom staff.
Schuster was forced to go over Mijatovic's head to president Ramon Calderon to bring his Getafe No2 Manolo Ruiz to Madrid, while Mijatovic believes the coach's determination to bring former Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek to the club was a slap in the face to the club's youth system and young keeper Jordi Codina.
Schuster, it is reported, was against the arrival of former Manchester United fitness coach Walter Di Savio and was also unhappy with the way Mijatovic handled negotiations for Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack.
