Real Madrid are unlikely to do much business in the final three days of the transfer window, with Carlo Ancelotti declaring their business done multiple weeks ago.
However there are one or two outstanding issues to be sorted out.
Uruguayan forward Alvaro Rodriguez is due to leave the club before the end of the transfer window, while Reinier Jesus is also expected to exit. The Br azilian returned from his loan move at Frosinone last season, but has not trained with the first team, and has been registered as a Real Madrid Castilla player.
Ancelotti was asked what he would recommend for Reinier, and his answer could scarcely have been more blunt, saying "What I would recommend is a team where he can show his qualities. Simply that."
Reinier arrived at Real Madrid four years ago, and still has two further seasons on his contract, following a €30m move from Flamengo. Despite the odd hints of talent, his loan spells over the last four years at Borussia Dortmund, Girona and Frosinone have all ended with him warming the bench sooner or later. Norwich City have been linked with him as a surprise destination, although that trail has gone quiet.
