Portugal coach Carlos Queiroz admits they're pinning their World Cup hopes on Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Queiroz is close to Ronaldo thanks to their days together at Manchester United.
"We expect a lot from Cristiano Ronaldo. With what we have done, if we have the contribution and added value of a player recognised and considered one of the best in the world, of course the team will benefit," said Queiroz.
"The other player's gave a positive response [in his absence in qualifying]. Stars win games but it is the collective, the team that wins championships."
