Marcelo's moan over Kiko Casilla's departure to Leeds highlights a bigger problem at Real Madrid.
Gareth Bale's tenure at Real Madrid looks closer to ending than at any point since he signed in 2013.
Bale is not part of the Real starting XI, and Marca reported last month the Spanish champions are looking to sell him this summer.
A recent moan from teammate Marcelo has highlighted part of the issue with Bale.
As reported by The Times, Marcelo complained that the sale of pal Kiko Casilla to Leeds United has left the Br azilian moaning about teammate Bale's lack of Spanish language skills.
Marcelo told Globo Esporte: "It sucks when a mate goes. Not by the team, but because you are living everyday and do not value the day you are playing and such. And when you get in the locker room and you do not have it anymore, just like Kiko Casilla, for me it's very annoying.
"I look now and there is a void, they have not put anyone yet. On the other side is Bale, but he does not speak (Spanish), only English, there is no way."
Bale has been at Real for six years, and his inability to speak fluent Spanish has not helped his cause with the media out there.
Real had no footballing reasons to keep hold of Casilla, letting him leave to join Leeds on a free in January, where he has become a regular.
Even so, Casilla's exit has helped highlight the growing frustration around Bale, who could face Casilla's Leeds in the Premier League next season if they win promotion, and Real get their way selling the Welshman.
