Manchester City remain keen on Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas ahead of the January market.
The People says Casillas, dropped by Jose Mourinho last season and underused by new boss Carlo Ancelotti, has indicated he will leave Madrid if his situation does not improve.
City boss Manuel Pellegrini has Barcelona keeper Victor Valdes and QPR stopper Julio Cesar in his sights but Casillas is also in the running and has been alerted to City’s interest.
