Geremi insists Chelsea will achieve their goals of becoming one of the leading clubs in Europe.
The Cameroon international says the Blues are well on the way of emulating his former club, Real Madrid, despite recent criticism.
Geremi said:
"When the season started we couldn't say that we would win something just because of the players we'd bought. Football isn't as logical as that."
"Real Madrid are a great club but they didn't build up from nothing to be a great club in one year. Give us the time."
"Any good team has to gel and learn that understanding by playing together. Most of us have only played together this year and maybe people are asking too much of us."
"I know what the club is trying to build. We want to be as big as Real Madrid. When you're with a team, if you don't win something, then it's a big disappointment."
"But I want people to say ' Geremi was at Chelsea when they won the Premiership and the Champions League'."
"If you are going to win things you have to be a big team. I came to this club because I know we can do it here."
