Cristiano Ronaldo has settled terms with Real Madrid over a new contract.
Terra says negotiations have reached a positive conclusion which will see Ronaldo extend his deal from 2015 to 2017 and see his wages jump from €10 million-a-year to €15 million-a-year.
The new agreement sees the former Manchester United star move into second place on the football earners' table, ahead of PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic on €14.5 million-a-year, but still behind Anzhi's Samuel Eto'o on €20 million-a-year.
Ronaldo is delighted with the new agreement, which could be confirmed after the international break.
