Luxemburgo insists on Ricardinho for Real Madrid

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo is pushing management to make an offer to Santos midfielder Ricardinho.

The Br azil international, who flopped at Middlesbrough, is coming off contract in December and Luxemburgo wants the 29 year-old at Real for the second-half of the season, this despite having Tommy Gravesen and Pablo Garcia available to him.

If Real fail to land Ricardinho, AZ Alkmaar midfielder Danny Landzaat is an alternative. A favourite of Real general manager Arrigo Sacchi, Landzaat is Cup-tied from the Champions League this season.
