Alessandro Del Piero and Fabio Capello were left impressed by Jude Bellingham’s performance against Napoli: ‘He lacks nothing,’ said the ex-coach.
The English international was the MOTM in Real Madrid‘s 3-2 win against Napoli at the Stadio Maradona on Tuesday and his performance impressed two Italian legends such as Del Piero and Capello.
" Bellingham has great physicality, he is good with the ball at his feet, he has personality and he scores goals," Del Piero told Sky Sport Italia, as quoted by Tuttosport.
"Call him as you like, but he is really strong, in every part of the pitch, with or without the ball. He hurts with his late runs and we should not underestimate the fact that he has settled in at Madrid with great personality."
Bellingham has already scored eight goals in nine appearances across all competitions with the Merengues, including two in his first two Champions League games with the La Liga giants.
" Ancelotti has done a good job too because he managed him wisely,” noted Del Piero.
“He is not the replacement for Karim Benzema but without the Frenchman, Madrid use Bellingham’s late runs to hurt opponents."
Capello was also impressed by the English midfielder who scored a goal at the Stadio Maradona and contributed to Vini Jr.’s equaliser in the first half by winning possession in the final third.
"Napoli were sloppy in the first part of the game and a ball recovered by Bellingham led to Madrid’s equaliser," the ex-Milan coach argued.
" Ancelotti said he [ Bellingham] is a complete player and I have to say he lacks nothing. He’s hard to man-mark, selfless, scores, and has vision."
Napoli have three points in two Champions League group stage games this season and will meet Leonardo Bonucci’s Union Berlin in the next two matches in the competition.
Braga recovered from two goals down in Germany on Tuesday, securing a 3-2 win and joining Napoli in second place in Group C.
