Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos says he and his teammates are not too perturbed after falling four points behind Barcelona on the Spanish top flight table.
The reigning European champions lost 2-1 to the Catalan giants at the Campo Nou in Sunday’s El Clasico which has them a win and a draw in arrears of their arch rivals.
Following the match, which saw Luis Suarez score the winner just over 10 minutes into the second half, Ramos said the deficit Real have to make up is not too much of an issue at this point of the campaign.
"The gap is four points, we have time to recover. We’ll keep fighting and we won’t give up," he told Canal+.
"We’ve been in worse situations and we’ve also lost leagues after being seven points ahead. In my experience you can’t let your head drop. You’ve just got to keep calm and keep working."
