Chelsea Legends will be travelling to Spain this summer to face their Real Madrid counterparts at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday 23 June.
Hosted by the Real Madrid Foundation, the Fiesta Corazon Classic Match 2019 will be the 10th year of the annual event and this year has the theme of ‘Heartbeats with Soul’ to raise money for the Foundation’s social inclusion projects.
The game follows on from the successful Legends game last May, when the Blues hosted Inter Forever at Stamford Bridge, with the likes of Carlo Cudicini, Marcel Desailly, Tore Andre Flo and Graeme Le Saux all set to feature in Madrid.
Meanwhile, the Real Madrid Legends team will include Alvaro Arbeloa, Julio Baptista, Raul and Roberto Carlos with further names to be announced in due course.
Speaking at the launch event, Chelsea ambassador Tore Andre Flo said: "It will be an honour to play against the Real Madrid Legends this summer."
"This match will be a very nice occasion, not only on the field, but also due to the work of both the Real Madrid and Chelsea Foundations making the lives of thousands of people around the world better."
"It is a great opportunity to play in one of the best stadiums. I have spoken with my team-mates and we’re all happy to be able to play here. There is no doubt that charity will win in this great event and I hope that everyone comes and has fun."
