Barcelona skipper Frank de Boer is urging his team mates to ignore their own publicity ahead of the game against Athletic Bilbao at the Nou Camp on Saturday.
Barca's 3-1 Champions League victory over Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday has had the Catalan press waxing lyrical about a new Dream Team and confidently predicting domestic and European glory this season.
Victory over Bilbao would take third-placed Barcelona top of the table, at least for one night, with leaders Deportivo Coruna and second-placed Alaves not in action until Sunday.
De Boer is anxious to avoid a nasty surprise when sixth-placed Bilbao come to town on Saturday.
"It's perfectly normal for us to be happy with the Anfield result but we haven't won anything at this stage," the Dutch centre-back said.
"We played well against Liverpool, but it was just one game."
Barcelona do have cause for confidence, given that they thumped Bilbao 7-0 in this fixture last season.
The Basques have looked far stronger on their travels this term, with four wins, one draw and one defeat from six games away from San Mames.
Matches being played on Sunday
CELTA VIGO vs. ESPANYOL
Celta have lost their last three games to slip well off the title pace but they should get back on track against inconsistent Espanyol, who have midfielder Alex suspended after his fifth yellow card in last weekend's 2-1 win at home to Real Mallorca.
OSASUNA vs. REAL BETIS
It will be interesting to see how Osasuna react to coach Miguel Angel Lotina's announcement that he intends to step down at the end of the season. The home side certainly need a boost after dropping down to within a point of the relegation places with a draw and two defeats in their last three games.
RAYO VALLECANO vs. REAL MADRID
Real have won three of their last four games to move up to seventh and with Zinedine
Zidane finding his best form they will be highly confident of victory in this local derby.
Rayo hopes of causing an upset will rest largely on Bosnian forward
Elvir Baljic, who takes on his former club after joining Rayo on loan earlier this month.
REAL MALLORCA vs. DEPORTIVO CORUNA
Mallorca suffered a demoralising 3-1 defeat to Czech side Slovan Liberec in midweek and they will need a rapid improvement if they are to get something from this clash with the league leaders.
Javier Irureta's side are likely to be without leading strikers
Diego Tristan and Roy Makaay, who both limped out of Wednesday's Champions League game against Arsenal after netting the goals in a 2-0 win. Walter Pandiani stands by.
REAL SOCIEDAD vs. VALENCIA
Real are back in trouble after two successive defeats and they will have to be at their best to avoid a third here against unbeaten Valencia.
REAL ZARAGOZA vs. LAS PALMAS
Las Palmas did well to hold Barcelona to a goalless draw at home last week but their away form has been poor all season and this looks a good opportunity for Zaragoza.
SEVILLA vs. VALLADOLID
Sevilla showed plenty of spirit in last weekend's 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid at the Bernabeu and although their home form has deserted them of late they should be capable of getting something from this game.
TENERIFE vs. MALAGA
Tenerife hope to have Argentine forward Esteban Fuertes back after three weeks out with a muscle strain. Their task should be made easier as Malaga have Sandro and Miguel Angel Roteta both suspended for accumulated yellow cards.
VILLARREAL vs. ALAVES
Alaves have their sights on the league leadership after a superb run of four wins in five games. They have won just twice away from home this term, though, and a well organised Villarreal side could slow their progress on Sunday.
