In recent days, the name Rodrygo has been buzzing around Real Madrid, but not for the reasons he might prefer.
Despite his impressive performance, including two fantastic goals against Athletic Club last weekend, the Br azilian finds himself in the spotlight for uncertain reasons regarding his future.
This uncertainty stems from the imminent arrival of Kylian Mbappe at Real Madrid, which has dominated headlines.
Nevertheless, according to a report from El Larguero, Rodrygo has firmly expressed his commitment to staying with Real Madrid this summer, even in the face of Mbappe’s arrival as he sees Real Madrid’s project as the most promising in football.
Despite interest from clubs like Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Manchester United, Rodrygo has made it clear that he will not entertain offers from any of them.
As mentioned previously, there are many clubs interested in signing Rodrygo.
Specifically, Liverpool recently expressed interest in acquiring the Br azilian, viewing him as a suitable replacement for Mohamed Salah, who could potentially leave at the end of the season, along with manager Jurgen Klopp.
Over the past few days, Liverpool have made offers for Rodrygo, with their highest bid reaching €80 million. However, Real Madrid promptly rejected this offer.
Although it might not sound ideal, Real Madrid could consider selling Rodrygo if the offer meets their valuation. While they turned down one bid already, they might reconsider if offers fall within the €100 to €120 million range.
Meanwhile, Rodrygo appears positive about the situation, suggesting that even if Mbappe joins, he will view it as healthy competition.
“If Mbappe comes, I will be benched? It will be a happy problem for the manager,” he said.
As of today, Carlo Ancelotti and his coaching staff are more than happy with Rodrygo’s output and unless there is not an extravagant offer on the table, they would not entertain any bid.
