Sergio Ramos has confirmed Real Madrid will not offer Barcelona with a guard of honour at the Nou Camp next week.
Los Blancos are being urged to respect their arch-rivals when the two sides meet, after Ernesto Valverde's side wrapped up the La Liga title against Deportivo on Sunday.
Barcelona gave Madrid a guard of honour after Bernd Schuster guided the club to the league championship back in 2008.
But it would appear Zidane is planning to get revenge after the Catalan side refused to honour his side after they won the Club World Cup last year.
And Ramos has backed up his manager's recent defiant comments.
"Coach Zidane said it and it’s set in stone," he said.
"We will not give Barcelona a guard of honour next weekend."
"Don’t ask me about it, let them enjoy their title and we will focus on Bayern from now on."
"Barcelona have completed a great season and won two titles."
Madrid are currently focusing on their Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.
The Spanish outfit will take a 2-1 lead into the second leg on Tuesday evening.
"We are playing almost a final tomorrow and we want our fans to be with us and carry us to a win," Ramos added.
"When we’ve made history we’ve always had our fans by our side and tomorrow can’t be any different."
