Real Madrid pair set for Osasuna move

Osasuna are moving for Real Madrid pair Francisco Pavon and Alvaro Negredo.

Defender Pavon is available from Real, while striker Negredo also wants to leave after seeing the Castilla relegated from the Segunda Liga last season.

Pavon is set to arrive on a free transfer and Negredo would join Osasuna in a similar deal to Roberto Soldado's arrangement last term - a 12-month loan with the option to make the deal permanent next June.

Promoted Almeria have offered £2 million for Negredo, but Osasuna are confident they have the inside-running thanks to their close relationship with Real.
