Real Madrid will need to strengthen their squad in upcoming transfer windows.
If there is one thing that has become clear this season, it is that they simply do not have the depth right now to compete for all three competitions or perform at the top level throughout the course of the season. While Carlo Ancelotti has received a lot of criticism lately, one cannot overlook the fact that he has not been dealt the best hand by the club.
Reinforcements are needed all over the pitch. And hopefully, the club will make some big additions over the summer transfer window.
When it comes to rising talents in European football, the first name that comes to mind right now is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. It would be an understatement to say that his rise has been meteoric. When he was brought in by Napoli in the summer, he was pretty much an unknown. Now, he is the talk of the sport.
Kvaratskhelia has been sublime for Napoli and is one of the biggest reasons that they are running away with the Serie A title. And that kind of form seems to have caught the eye of Real Madrid.
As reported by Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid has long followed Kvaratskhelia. And that interest grew even more when it emerged that he is a Madridista.
By this point of time, it is no secret that Kvaratskhelia grew up supporting to Real Madrid. And his idol in the game was club legend Guti.
According to stats from Transfermarkt, Kvaratskhelia has scored 13 goals and provided 15 assists in 28 appearances for Napoli.
Thus, all things combined, it is not hard to see why Real Madrid might be interested in the winger. It won’t be easy to sign him though, as he is believed to be rated at a transfer value around €100 million.
