Dani Carvajal’s recent ACL injury has sent shockwaves across Real Madrid, with the veteran defender set to be ruled out for a year.
The Spaniard has received immense support from his teammates as well as the footballing fraternity, as he looks to return to action by the start of next season.
The likes of Federico Valverde and Arda Guler have poured in support for Carvajal, who has also received words of encouragement from Barcelona players.
Following the confirmation of Carvajal’s ACL injury, Gavi wrote a message for Dani Carvajal on his Instagram account.
"Strength to you my Carva! You will come back like the animal you are," Gavi wrote on his Instagram story.
It must be remembered that Carvajal was one of the first players to offer encouragement to Gavi when he picked up a serious knock, wishing him a speedy recovery.
Gavi, in fact, was not the only Barcelona player to send words of encouragement to Carvajal in the wake of his injury.
Pedri, too, wished him a speedy recovery, with an Instagram story that read, "Stay strong, my brother! I am sure we will cry together with joy again."
Dani Olmo echoed a similar sentiment, stating, "Stay strong my friend."
Another Barcelona player to offer support to the defender was Ferran Torres. "Get well soon, Carvajal! We are with you!" he wrote on Instagram.
