Giovanni Reyna is the next potential superstar on Real Madrid's wishlist as they prepare to spend big next summer, it has been reported.
After a summer transfer window in which they didn't spend a penny, it is believed Real Madrid are now preparing themselves for a expensive year in 2021, with a number of top stars on their radar.
While Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe have always been top of the list, Marca are reporting that Bernabeu chiefs are also keeping a keen eye on Dortmund's next big thing Reyna.
Gio, the son of former Man City and Rangers midfielder Claudio, has lit up the Bundesliga already, despite only being 17 years old.
Reyna has two goals and four assists in just five matches across all competitions this season, recording three last time out.
Real Madrid's potential big-spending summer at the end of 2020-21 could be reminiscent of the old days when they based their transfer windows on signing one 'Galactico' every year.
In the past it has been Ronaldo, David Beckham, Luis Figo and Zinedine Zidane, and the likes of Haaland or Mbappe could well be next. Reyna remains an option though.
As it stands this season, Real Madrid are top of the table with three wins and a draw from their opening four matches.
After the international break, Real host top-flight newbies Cadiz looking to continue their unbeaten run.
