According to a recent assessment from Transfermarkt, Real Madrid now boast the most valuable squad globally, with a staggering total value of €1.34 billion.
This impressive figure underscores the club’s substantial investment in talent and their success in building a world-class team.
Among the standout players, Vinicius Jr., Kylian Mbappe, and Jude Bellingham shine brightest. All three are valued at €180 million each, collectively amounting to €540 million.
This trio is far ahead of their peers, as no other players come close to matching their worth. Following this elite group, Federico Valverde ranks fourth with a valuation of €120 million.
Rodrygo sits in fifth place, valued at €110 million, while Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni are valued at €100 million each, occupying the sixth and seventh spots.
This ranking highlights Real Madrid’s strategic approach to acquiring young talent, with seven out of the top eight most valuable players in La Liga being part of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
Real Madrid’s strategy of investing in young prospects has proven to be highly effective. For instance, Vinicius Jr., who was signed from Flamengo in May 2017 at just 17 years old for a reported €20 million, has seen his value skyrocket to €180 million in seven years.
Similarly, Rodrygo, who joined Real Madrid from Santos in May 2018 with a valuation of around €10 million, has seen his worth increase dramatically to €110 million. This significant rise mirrors the growth seen with Vinicius.
Another example is Endrick, whose transfer to Real Madrid was finalised in December 2022, although he only joined the team this summer.
Despite continuing to play for Palmeiras, his valuation has grown from €20 million in November 2022 to €60 million today.
Real Madrid’s dominance extends beyond La Liga, as the club also leads in the global Transfermarkt rankings. Vinicius, Bellingham, and Mbappe are among the top four most valuable players worldwide, each valued at €180 million, alongside Erling Haaland.
Lastly, Manchester City remain a strong competitor, with three players in the top 10, challenging Real Madrid’s supremacy in this elite ranking. They also have the second-most valuable squad in the sport right now, valued at €1.26 billion.
